Two members of Louisiana State University Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity were arrested Wednesday after reports show that pledges were being physically assaulted during initiation activities.
Brody Tanner, 19, and Thomas Lavergne, 22, were arrested for one count each of criminal hazing and simple battery. Lavergne received one additional count of theft.
Sources say the report was filed on Oct.13 alleging that active members of TKE struck pledges at two different off-campus locations on Oct. 9.
More arrests could be potentially made as the investigation continues. LSU officials have not commented on the case yet.
