LSU Football loses 20-9 against a highly ranked Alabama team in Tuscaloosa. This game marked Frank Wilson’s first game as Interim Head Coach of LSU Football.
Coach Wilson knows his players have had a rough last couple weeks and he want’s the team to know that everyone is in this together.
“Right now I just want to be there for our players,” Coach Wilson said. “To let them know were going to be alright, to pick their heads up and we’re standing by you. We’re in this thing together.”
As per usual this season, the LSU defense came more prepared than the offense. LSU limited the high powered Alabama offense to only twenty points.
“They didn’t rush the ball extremely well,” Coach Wilson said. “We contested passes like we said we wanted to do, and eventually we were able to start moving the quarterback off his mark, which was advantageous for us.”
Coach Wilson and his squad will look to get back in the win column against Arkansas next week at 11:45 a.m. CT inside Tiger Stadium on November 15th.
