Sports mean more for people in Louisiana, especially LSU sports.

With this comes plenty of diehard fans who have been with the Tigers through the lowest of lows but have also enjoyed the highest of highs.

Although LSU does have plenty of these diehard fans, it is imperative to expose those who claim the title of “diehard” but in reality are bandwagons.

The best example of this is when the Golden State Warriors took the NBA by storm in the mid 2010s then all of the sudden half of the U.S. were Warriors fans. The same concept applies for LSU because of all the recent success the school has had.

So, I tested LSU students to see if they truly were diehards by showing them three historic LSU athletes. If at least two of the three athletes are correctly named, the student can proudly boast that they are diehard. But if the student could only name one, that unfortunately is bandwagon material.

This go round, the students aced the test as all three of them passed. However, thanks to this success, the questions on the next test will be more difficult.
