The LSU baseball team got a much-needed win Wednesday night as they defeated the Cowboys of McNeese State by a score of 10-3. Though starting pitcher Cody Glenn, who has been shaky at best this year, struggled early on the offense was able to save the day. Senior DH Sean McMullen and Sophomore Shortstop and reigning National Freshman of The Year Alex Bregman both homered in the Tigers winning effort. After getting swept at the hands of SEC rival Florida this past weekend, the Tigers regained their confidence at the plate, and with that their footing in the race to Omaha. LSU is slated to play against Mississippi State in Starkville this weekend, and can only hope their bats are as hot as they were Wednesday evening.
