Hours remain before LSU learns who will take the stage at its annual spring concert, and sources suggest that American Idol alum Clay Aiken might be among the performers chosen.
Sources tell LSUReveille.com that even if Aiken’s performance is a possibility, he would not be the main headliner at Groovin’ this year.
While Aiken has put much of his efforts into politics in recent years, he has not been successful in getting elected.
Although it remains to be seen if Aiken will be chosen, there are traditionally 3-to-4 artists that perform at Groovin’.
This news comes hours before Students on Target reveals the full lineup at the organization’s Groovin’ release party in Free Speech Alley (outside the LSU Student Union) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m on Wednesday.
