Noted television chef Bal Arneson kicked off LSU’s new Celebrity Chef Series last week in the 459.
Besides being known for her cookbooks and for judging mercilessly on the television series Top Chef, Arneson is also known for her spicy, exciting dishes, something desperately lacking at the 459.
LSU Dining marketing manager Ellen Sturgill says that the lecture series will teach students unique cooking skills they can in no way utilize in their dorm rooms.
Sturgill says that the lecture courses fit into LSU Dining’s main ethos: “Eat, Learn, Lure in Celebrity Chefs, and Ritualistically Slaughter to Appease F. King Alexander”.
