Members of LSU’s service organization, You Got Served, hosted its 2nd Annual ‘Real Men Wear Pink Fashion Show’ on Tuesday, October 27, with the help of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge. The fashion show included some of the children from the Boys and Girls Club as well as LSU students and athletes.
The fashion show served as a way to spread the word about Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. You Got Served encouraged all in attendance to make monetary donations to the American Cancer Society to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. The event took place at the BREC gym on Alaska Street and raffled off pink t-shirts to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Members of the Boys and Girls Club were able to bust out their favorite dance moves and show off their pink outfits in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Meeting at the BREC after school, the members of the Boys and Girls Club are able to get their homework done and hang out with their friends.
With the help of volunteers and members of You Got served, the Boys and Girls Club was able to help children and members of the Baton Rouge community become educated about Breast Cancer Awareness.
