The Lady Tigers fell to the Florida Gators 73-64 on Thursday night, bringing the team’s overall record to 14-8.
Even with guard Jeanne Kenney back for her second game from being injured, the Tigers failed to keep the ball away from Florida. The Gators forced LSU to turnover the ball 22 times allowing for 26 points.
LSU only managed to shoot 38.6% overall. However, Guard Adrienne Webb racked up 19 total points for the Tigers and was the team’s leading scorer.
The Gators led the entire game, without LSU even tying things up.
The Tigers face off against Kentucky on Sunday, February 5 at 2 p.m. in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
