The athletic director search committee selected six candidates for the LSU athletic director post at its meeting Monday afternoon.
Joe Alleva, director of athletics at Duke University, Dave Hart, Jr., former director of athletics at Florida State University, and Rob Mullens, deputy director of athletics at Kentucky, are three new additions to the search as of Monday morning, according to Law Center Chancellor Jack Weiss.
Craig Angelos, director of athletics at Florida Atlantic, rounds out the external candidates to replace current athletic director Skip Bertman.
Herb Vincent, senior associate athletic director at LSU, was included in the final pool after the committee went into executive session. Verge Ausberry is another LSU senior associate athletic director in the running for the position.
The committee will hold interviews for the six candidates on Wednesday morning at the Law Center.
