BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Democratic U.S. Rep. Don Cazayoux on Wednesday filed a federal elections complaint against GOP challenger Bill Cassidy, accusing Cassidy’s campaign of illegally collaborating with an independent group that supports the Republican. The Cassidy campaign denied the allegation, saying there has been no collaboration with the American Academy of Ophthalmologists, which is running television ads in support of Cassidy, a Baton Rouge physician and state senator.
