There was another break-in at Tiger Stadium over the weekend, according to the University.
According to LSUPD’s initial crime report, an LSU staff member called LSUPD officers to the stadium around 11:00 a.m. on Sunday in reference to a burglary.
The staff member told police that unknown individuals gained entry into the stadium sometime between 7:00 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 a.m. Sunday, according to the crime report.
There are no known suspects at this time.
This is the second break-in to occur at the stadium in the past month.
LSU officials met last week to discuss possible security upgrades to the exterior of Tiger Stadium in light of the first burglary that took place during the late night and early morning hours of Jan. 3 and 4.
During that incident, vandals reportedly defaced the field’s turf.
There is an ongoing investigation in both cases.
