Sophomore fullback Dominique Allen has been suspended from the football team for violating team rules, LSU coach Les Miles announced Thursday.
“There is a responsibility our players have to this program. There are things that you can and can’t do and we are not going to compromise the integrity of our program,” Miles said in a news release. “To be part of the LSU football team, we ask our players to strive for excellence in the classroom, and in competition, and to represent this university in a first-class manner in the community. Anything short of that will not be accepted.”
Allen played in one game as a true freshman, making a start against Auburn.
