(AP) — For the first time since there was a federal ozone standard, the five-parish area of East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Livingston, Iberville and Ascension is meeting it.
Steven Moret, secretary of Louisiana Economic Development, said meeting the ozone standard could mean more economic development opportunities.
“This is a very positive development,” he said.
