LSU Gymnastics will head to Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Friday to take on the Crimson Tide.
Coming off a season high team score, the Tigers will look to keep the momentum heading back on the road, where they have struggled this season.
Aleah Finnegan says the team is just focused on carrying on the momentum built last week, “The motivation for this week comes from having such a great meet on Friday, but we also want to be able to do that anywhere so the goal for this week is to be able to do our normal and everyday but being able to do it in environments that we’re not necessarily comfortable in.”
The Tigers have dropped their last two road meets and are looking to take the crimson crown.
Coach Jay Clark recognizes the competitiveness of gymnastics and isn’t worried as the team is only five meets in, “Finding your consistency in the regular season is rare…there are hiccups that come along in a sport like ours.”
The Tigers will kickoff in Tuscaloosa at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
