From what started off as a pass time during the 2020 lockdown, graduate student at LSU, Dwayne Hinton, turned his 3-D printing hobby into a small business on campus.
From fidget toys, to keychains, to earrings, and much more, Hinton was able to bring his creativity to life with the help of modern technology.
Hinton began with selling previous prints he had laying around to pass time between his class gaps during the 2024 fall semester.
Which has led his small table to overflow with clients requests’, making sure there is something that catches everyone’s eye.
But most importantly, Hinton wants to make sure there is something all his clients can afford, no matter how small of an item.
“If I am going to be out here, I feel like I need to have something for all the price ranges,” said Hinton, “everybody can go away with something happy, go away happy with something.”
Hinton takes requests for custom 3-D designs and laser engravings. Make sure to stop by the quad to check his table out.
