LSU had a massive sixth-inning surge leading LSU to an 11-5 win over North Alabama on Sunday, extending their winning streak.
Holding a 5-2 lead, LSU scored six runs in the sixth.
Derek Curiel drew a bases-loaded walk, Daniel Dickinson followed with an RBI single, then Josh Pearson capped it off with his first career grand slam.
Pitcher Chase Shores (4-0) secured the win, allowing two runs across five innings. North Alabama’s Anthony Pingeton (1-2) struggled, giving up five runs in four innings.
The Tigers improved to 16-1 on the season, while North Alabama dropped to 3-11.
LSU has one more regular season game before they start conference play.
