There are currently 37 active former LSU Tigers in the NFL, but that number shrinks to five when looking at Tigers left in the NFL Playoffs.
First is the New England Patriots who are led by offensive tackle Will Campbell, wide receiver Kayshon Boutte, and linebacker Bradyn Swinson.
Swinson is currently inactive, only recording one solo tackle in three games played for the Patriots this season. In his last season at LSU, it was a different story. He recorded 58 solo tackles and 8.5 sacks in 13 games played.
Campbell is only a rookie, but he has already shown what he can do as an offensive lineman in the NFL. Campbell was drafted third overall in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and he has made that decision look like the right choice only allowing five sacks this season.
Boutte has 551 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns this season, but LSU fans will always remember his heroic performance in 2020 against Ole Miss. Boutte had 14 receptions for 308 yards, and he also had three receiving touchdowns which included the game-winning score.
Next is the Los Angeles Rams whose only former LSU Tiger is Linebacker Omar Speights. Speights has emerged as a key defensive player for the Rams’ playoff run. On the season, Speights has 45 solo and 40 assisted tackles, and is third on the team in total tackles.
The Seahawks only have one former LSU Tiger on their roster currently which is Offensive Lineman Anthony Bradford. Bradford starts at right guard for the Seahawks, and was a fourth round draft pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
To round out NFLSU in the playoffs is Rookie Defensive Lineman Sai’vion Jones of the Denver Broncos. Jones only played three games this season, and his only recorded stat is one forced fumble recovery. In his senior year at LSU, Jones recorded 7.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks.
With the NFL Season coming to a close, only time will tell which beloved Tiger will come home with the Lombardi Trophy.
