Early Tuesday afternoon, LSU Gymnastics head coach Jay Clark spoke to the media about the Tigers’ loss against Georgia and changes going into their home opener against Kentucky.
After expressing disappointment in the scores from Georgia, he mentioned how the girls might need to switch things around and make some changes for Friday.
“We are kind of revamping and retooling our lineups. Changing some things up early, trying to get some people ready at a different pace than some others, there’s just a lot that goes into it,” Clark stated.
Clark said that “Georgia is certainly an improved team” and that it was difficult for LSU to play a good team after being on the road for two weeks on the road.
“We get to get in front of our people, feed off that energy, and try to hit the reset button and move forward,” Clark mentioned.
With LSU playing Kentucky at home in the PMAC, they have the advantage to feel more comfortable and confident enough to possibly defeat the Wildcats after their most recent loss on the road.
