After an impressive home opener, the LSU Tigers came in fierce and on top of their work early Friday night.
Head Coach Jay Clark expressed that the team had to switch their mindset to being back home with the support of their fans after their last few being on the road.
“Coming back in here is just what the doctor ordered I guess. We needed to take a big step forward after a little bit of a disappointing previous week and I thought we did that,” Clark stated.
With a completely sold out meet the Tigers were performing confident with the support from all their fans.
One LSU gymnast that said the crowd helped her perform much better was Kailin Chio who ended up getting a perfect score of 10.000.
“I have not seen that kid light up the way that she did. The kid, she loves gymnastics,” Clark mentioned.
After how the Tigers performed tonight they have a lot more to look forward to as their season begins.
