The 2026 Mardi Gras season is here. Here are the Mardi Gras parade routes rolling through Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
Baton Rouge Parades:
Krewe of Southdowns will start rolling at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, through the Southdowns neighborhood. The route begins at Glasgow Middle School and ends at Acadian-Perkins Shopping Center. Parking will be available on-route.
On Saturday, Feb. 14, the Spanish Town Parade will kick off at noon in downtown Baton Rouge. The floats will start down Spanish Town Road and end on River Road. Parking is not permitted along the route, so parking in city garages and paid lots is encouraged.
Krewe of Shenandoah will follow on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 6:30 p.m., beginning at Woodlawn Baptist Church and wrapping up at Tiger Bend Road. Recommended parking spots include Woodlawn Middle School and Woodlawn Park Shopping Center.
New Orleans Parades:
Friday, Feb. 13:
At 5:30 p.m., Krewe of Hermes will travel through Uptown, beginning at Magazine Street and Jefferson Avenue and ending at Baronne Street.
Krewe d’Etat starts rolling through Uptown at 6:30 p.m., following the same route, and ending at Canal and Chartres Street.
Finally, Krewe of Morpheus starts at 7 p.m. along the same route, ending at Tchoupitoulas and Higgins Street.
Saturday, Feb. 14:
Krewe of Iris will commence at 11 a.m., beginning at Napoleon Avenue and South Saratoga Street, follow Saint Charles Avenue down to Tchoupitoulas and Poydras Street.
Starting at Napoleon Avenue and Tchoupitoulas Street, Krewe of Tucks will roll at noon, following the same route as Iris.
Krewe of Endymion will begin to move at 4 p.m. at City Park Avenue and Orleans Avenue and proceed to head towards downtown on Canal Street, ending at Caesars Superdome.
Sunday, Feb. 15:
Krewe of Thoth begins at State and Tchoupitoulas Street at noon, later riding down Magazine Street and stretching down Saint Charles Avenue, winding up at Poydras Street.
Krewe of Bacchus kicks off at 5:15 p.m. at Napoleon Avenue and Tchoupitoulas Street, then makes its way down Saint Charles Avenue, eventually ending at the Convention Center and Henderson Street.
Monday, Feb. 16:
Krewe of Proteus will start at 5:15 p.m. at Napoleon Avenue and Magazine Street, head towards, then down Saint Charles Avenue and end at Canal and Chartres Street.
Promptly after, Krewe of Orpheus will commence at 6 p.m. at Napoleon Avenue and Tchoupitoulas Street, later heading down Saint Charles Avenue, and halting at the Convention Center and Henderson Street.
Tuesday, Feb 17:
At 8 a.m., Krewe of Zulu will begin rolling, starting at South Claiborne and Jackson Avenue, later weaving through the CBD, and ending at Orleans Avenue and Broad Street.
Next, at 10:30 a.m., Krewe of Rex begins at Napoleon Avenue and South Claiborne Avenue, later turning down Saint Charles Avenue and stopping at Canal and South Peters Street.
