The problem with huge events like Samsung’s Galaxy S4 show is no one else plans anything around it. As expected, it was a slow St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
1. Feedly feeds off Google Reader
It appears RSS isn’t dead after all.
After Google shuttered its Google Reader application last week, Feedly promised users who wanted to switch services a “seamless transition,” and that was apparently true.
In a blog post, the company announced it gained more than 500,000 Google Reader users after the announcement and is increasing its bandwidth tenfold to keep up with the flood of newcomers (Feeders?)
I’ve personally never used RSS for anything, and don’t exactly plan on starting. But good for fans, I suppose.
