Sinead O’Connor Threatens to Sue Miley Cyrus?

Unless you’re a big music buff, you may not know the name “Sinead O’Connor,” but I’ll save you a Google search. O’Connor is a singer that rose to fame in the 80’s and 90’s, especially with her big hit, “Nothing Compares 2U.”
Well, O’Connor is now making news because of a little online scuffle she had with Miley Cyrus this week. It all started when Miley said in her Rolling Stone interview that her “Wrecking Ball” video was inspired by O’Connor’s video for “Nothing Compares 2U.”
The 46-year-old singer then decided to write a (very long) open letter to Miley Cyrus on her website. In short: O’Connor is advising Cyrus not to let the industry “pimp” her by making her look ridiculous just so she can make news and money. She also added that the sledge-hammer licking and all the rest of her antics are hiding Cyrus’ “obvious talent.”
Miley must not have realized that the letter was not meant to be an insult, because she took to Twitter and tweeted a few shady things about O’Connor:
Before Amanda Bynes…. There was…. pic.twitter.com/6JZPVnunPc

[Sinead replied on Facebook saying that that Miley tweeted these old tweets of hers “in an attempt to deliberately cause me harm and hurt.” O’Connor added that her lawyers will soon contact Miley’s to discuss the situation.]
Sinead. I don’t have time to write you an open letter cause Im hosting & performing on SNL this week.

So if youd like to meet up and talk lemme know in your next letter. 🙂

Only time will tell if this will lead to an actual lawsuit, but Miley should definitely start to think before she tweets- or before she does anything in public, really
Big Sean and Naya Rivera Are Engaged
Big Sean officially put a ring on it! A gorgeous ring, might I add.
The rapper and “Glee” star, Naya Rivera, first went public with their relationship in April at the premiere of the film “42” and have been seemingly inseparable since.

Rivera’s rep confirmed the new to E! on Thursday, the same night that the actress stepped out with her sparkly engagement ring at an event for Latina magazine.
The couple reportedly met on Twitter, proving that fighting is not the only thing celebrities do on Twitter.
Michael Jackson’s Family Loses In Court

After months of testimonies by Michael Jackson’s family members, the Jackson family has lost in court after alleging that concert promoter AEG Live contributed to the death of the King of Pop.
Shortly before his death, Jackson had partnered up with AEG live and was preparing to go on a summer concert series. The Jackson family’s legal team argued that the singer was supposed to earn upwards of $1 billion over the course of the tour.
Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother, specifically alleged that AEG Live was negligent in hiring Dr. Conrad Murray to oversee her son’s medical care and sought up to $2 billion in damages.
Despite the fact that Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 for providing a lethal dose of propofol to Jackson, jurors determined that AEG Live had no direct part in his death.
The defendant’s attorney, Marvin Putnam, commented on the not guilty verdict after it was read. “There was simply no evidence that anyone at AEG did anything wrong,” Putnam said. “The win was a great victory for [AEG Live CEO Randy] Phillips in particular, who was personally sued by the Jacksons.”
