LSU offensive line coach Greg Studrawa will not return in 2014, the school announced on Wednesday.
The 49-year-old Bowling Green graduate “left the program to pursue other career opportunities,” according to a news release.
Studrawa served on the Tiger staff for seven seasons and was the longest tenured assistant coach on coach Les Miles’ staff.
“Stud (Studrawa) was a big part of our success here,” Miles said in a news release. “We won a lot of games, including a national championship and four straight 10-win seasons, with him. We appreciate all that Greg did for this program and wish nothing but success for him and his family in the future.”
After offensive coordinator Steve Kragthorpe was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2011, Studrawa took over his duties and commandeered the offense through a 13-0 regular season and an appearance in the BCS National Championship Game.
Cam Cameron replaced Studrawa at offensive coordinator before the 2013 season.
