“Sunday Sept. 10- Adeolu left his hostel (Hostel Azul) in Granada and went to Laguna De Apoyo
~11:30am- He rented a kayak from the Paradiso Hostel and kayaked across the laguna
~2pm- A fisherman saw him on the opposite side, supposedly headed back across the laguna
~4:30pm- Another fisherman found the kayak pulled up on the shore and resting on it’s side
~8pm- The police arrived after Adeolu was reported missing and searched the laguna Monday
Sept. 11- My family was notified by the US Embassy in Nicaragua that Adeolu was missing Monday/Tuesday- Someone thought he saw Adeolu in Granada but he’s not too sure
Wednesday Sept. 13- The two fisherman were found and their stories recorded; The kayak was retrieved and there were no signs of damages or trauma
Tuesday Oct. 10- It’s been a month now. The Nicaraguan police, army/navy, fire rescue, manera, and the amazing staff of the resorts on the Laguna have searched everyday. They have dived everywhere they could in the laguna Traversed the perimeter and the diameter of the basin And walked around the perimeter of the basin”
