On Saturday night, Death Valley was full of life once again as the Tiger’s played their home-opener against the Chattanooga Mocs.
Derrius Guice had another impressive performance to add to his Heisman campaign, running for 102 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.
Wide Receiver Dj Chark was also all over the field, catching 3 passes for 103 yards. He also added a 65-yard punt-return for a touchdown to his stat-line.
The LSU defense had yet another strong performance, shutting the Mocs down to only 242 total yards of offense. The Tigers also got to Chattanooga quarterback NIck Tiano, picking him off twice and sacking him five times.
