The LSU women’s basketball team already has more wins this season than it did all of last season, improving from 10-21 to 13-3 so far.
The Lady Tigers are leading the nation in steals with 228. They are also in the top ten nationally, averaging two steals per game.
LSU sophomore guard Chloe Jackson was honored with the SEC Player of the Week award after she dropped 34 points on the Florida Gators and then scored 22 points against the Arkansas Razorbacks. She also averaged three and a half steals per game this past week.
“I was pretty happy I could do that for the team,” Jackson said. “Everything was just kinda going my way, which was great.”
