Architecture professor and founder of Artemis Institute Lori Ryker will speak Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in room 103 of the Art & Design Building as part of the College of Art & Design’s Distinguished Lecture Series. Artemis Institute is a non-for-profit organization that focuses on helping people understand the relationship between nature and culture, according to a University news release. Ryker teaches a program called Remote Studio to design students in Livingston, Mont., which focuses on creativity, environmental responsibility and personal empowerment, the release said.
