Public Safety Day at LSU is an event that allows students to become familiar with the Police officers on campus.
It was held right in front of the Student Union on Tower Drive wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
LSU’s Police Department and students gathered together to participate in various activities, and discussed actions and resources students can take to stay safe.
Students received a ticket in order to either grab a slice of pizza or a snow cone. The event was quite successful and the students that attended got to partake in eating free food, listening to music, and gained information in order to stay safe.
If students were unable to attend the police public safety day yesterday, they can go to the LSU safety website to learn more about how they can also take extra safety measures while on or off campus.
