LSU students will get a chance to fully immerse themselves in the latest PlayStation games this Friday and Saturday at Fred’s Bar and the Varsity Theatre.
The event, called “Dorm Crashers,” will allow students to get first-hand experience with PlayStation’s new 3-D kiosks, which include a 24-inch LCD screen and a pair of 3-D glasses, according to a news release. The technology will also offer the unique ability to show two full screen views on the same display in the PlayStation’s two-person mode.
Political science senior C.J. Palmer said he is a big fan of 3-D technology and regularly watches movies in 3-D. He said that although he probably won’t attend the event, the 3-D could sway him.
