From 2004-08, the LSU women’s basketball team went to four straight Final Fours.
But now, the Lady Tigers are a shell of what they used to be. At least that’s what UConn head coach Geno Auriemma thinks.
“From where it was to where it is today, it’s not even the same program,” Auriemma said. “I don’t know all the reasons why, but when that happens it takes awhile to get that back and it’s gonna take a lot of good players. Right now they don’t have enough of them.”
