Steven Aucoin, 22322 Hoo Shoo Too Road, Baton Rouge, was arrested Sept. 20 on charges of disturbing the peace by public intoxication and two counts of simple criminal damage to property after LSUPD officers responded to a complaint of someone urinating on and destroying tailgating furniture near the Indian Mounds. He was arrested and released with a misdemeanor summons.
Kevin Carr, 504 East Bluejay Court, Slidell, La., was arrested Sept. 20 on charges of aggravated battery after officers allegedly saw Carr hit another man in the head with a beer bottle outside the PMAC. Carr was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Raymond Simmons, unknown address, was arrested Sept. 17 on charges of forgery, possession of drug paraphernalia, remaining after being forbidden, resisting arrest and illegal possession of stolen property after officers responded to a suspicious person complaint at the University Methodist Church. He was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Matthew Bazile, 227 Devon Road, LaPlace, La., Michael Kunz, 7 Windsor St., LaPlace, La., and Beau Wattigney, 2108 Oak Tree Drive, LaPlace, La., were arrested Sept. 14. Bazile and Wattigney were charged with simple possession of marijuana, and Kunz was charged with underage possession of alcohol after officers responded to a suspicious person complaint near Miller Hall. All were released with misdemeanor summonses.
A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested Sept. 13 on charges of second-degree battery after LSUPD officers were called to assist Baton Rouge police officers with a fight near the Huey P. Long Fieldhouse. The juvenile was released to a parent with felony charges pending.
Joshua Johnson, 1128 Elvin Drive, Baton Rouge, was arrested Sept. 12 on charges of careless operation, DWI, and hit-and-run after officers responded to a hit-and-run accident in the area of Nicholson Drive and South Stadium Drive. He was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
