National Signing Day has arrived for the class of 2026, and for LSU, the Tigers have maintained a strong recruiting class following the hiring of Lane Kiffin to Baton Rouge.
The biggest headline heading into Wednesday reported by Sam Spiegelman of Rivals was the news that both five-star defensive lineman commits Lamar Brown and Richard Anderson were not expected to sign.
Anderson decided to put pen to paper, signing for the Tigers today, being the only five-star player to do so. Brown, who will remain committed, did not make it official today.
Brown joins six other players who are committed to LSU, but not making it official on early signing day.
The other five players are fellow five-star Trenton Henderson, four-stars Bryson Cooley, Havon Finnley Jr, Deuce Geralds, and Dylan Purter.
As for the players who did commit to the Tigers, seven recruits have made it official.
Leading the way is a top 10 safety in the country and the number two safety in the state in Aiden Hall. Hall is the only Edna Karr Cougar to fully commit to the Tigers following early signing day.
The Tigers continued with five other in-state commits in four-star offensive tackle Brysten Martinez from Gonzales, Louisiana by way of East Ascension. Four-star Jabari Mack out of Destrehan, Louisiana from Destrehan High. Three-star commits Dezyrian Ellis from Winnsboro, Louisiana out of Franklin Parish, Isaiah Washington from Haynesville High out of Haynesville, Louisiana.
The most notable three-star commit to officially sign with the Tigers was Brayden Allen out of Lafayette, Louisiana from Lafayette Christian Academy. Allen decommitted from Oklahoma to flip his decision to remain home, and play for the Tigers.
Only three out of state players committed to LSU in Corey Barber. Barber was originally committed to Ole Miss, but decommitted and flipped to the Tigers following the hiring of Lane Kiffin to Baton Rouge.
Another player who made the flip from Ole Miss to LSU since Kiffin was hired is JC Anderson, a four-star tight end from Mt. Zion High in Mt. Zion, Illinois. Ryan Miret joins him as the third and final out-of-state player. Miret is a three-star offensive tackle out of Miami, Florida, by way of Miami Southridge.
As of now, the Tigers remain with the tenth ranked recruiting class in the nation per On3. The early signing day window will remain open until Friday, December 3rd. National signing day on February 4th, 2026 will be the final day for recruits to sign with universities for the class of 2026.
