The Streak Continues: LSU Women’s Basketball beats Arkansas
The LSU Women’s Basketball Team has been on a roll these last few games. This team has been working hard, adapting, and learning to play well together.
The defeat of Arkansas, Thursday night in the PMAC, is the team’s sixth win in a row.
While there are a few standout players this season, LSU worked extremely well sharing the ball and communicating on the court. Six players had at least 11 points during the game. These players include Grace Knox, Jada Richard, Mikaylah Williams, Flau’jae Johnson, Kate Koval, and ZaKiyah Johnson.
LSU Women’s Head Basketball Coach, Kim Mulkey was proud to see her team play with more of a sense of urgency and focus in the second half, after a slow first half. “I just didn’t think we started the game playing as hard as we can play”, said Mulkey.
The Tigers will try to keep their momentum going as they receive Alabama on Sunday in the PMAC for what will be their third straight match at home. The game will kick off at 11:00 C.T.
