Freshman standout Sariyah Bailey has been called up by the U.S. Under-19 Women’s National Team for the team’s upcoming training camp in Portugal, marking a historic milestone for the Tigers.
In her first season, Bailey recorded 1,458 minutes and 19 starts. The Edmonton, Canada native had top performances all season long, earning her All-SEC and SEC All-Freshman Team honors and Top Drawer Soccer recognition, marking her impact last season as one of the top freshmen players in the country.
Bailey finished the 2025 campaign recording nine goals, the third most on the team and a team best seven assists. The call up marks the first time an active LSU Soccer player has been called up to the national team.
The national team will travel up to Porto, Portugal from February 21 through March 7 for a series of international friendlies against Czechia, Wales and host nation of the FIFA U-20’s Women’s World Cup, Portugal.
Bailey now entering her sophomore season looks to continue the success following a major milestone with this historic call up for the Tigers.
