LSU Women’s Basketball player Jada Richard is entering the Transfer Portal.
Richard was a consistent starting guard for the 25-26 season, starting in 34 of the 35 games played. The 5’7 sophomore for the Tigers averaged 9.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, while also leading the team in free-throw percentage.
Her last appearance with LSU was the final game of their March Madness journey, against Duke, ending with 6 points and 2 assists.
Against the Oklahoma Sooners, her highest scoring game of the season, she supported her team to victory with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
Richard came into college as a four-star player, and top 100 prospects by ESPNW, LSWA Miss Basketball, the 2024 Gatorade Louisiana Player of the Year along with multiple MVP awards.
As we are getting closer to the closing of the Transfer Portal, Jada Richard is now the fourth of the women’s basketball team to enter, along with Kailyn Gilbert, Bella Hines and Divine Bourrage.
