For the third time this season, sophomore linebacker Devin White was named the SEC defensive player of the week, the league announced Monday.
White also earned the honor following wins against Auburn and Florida.
White surpassed 100 tackles this season with his 14 tackle performance against Arkansas. It was his sixth double-digit tackle game.
He also leads the SEC with 103 tackles through 10 games, averaging 10.3 a game.
The last LSU player to record 100 tackles in a season was Deion Jones in 2015.
Regular season finale kickoff time announced
LSU hosts Texas A&M in the Tigers regular-season finale on Nov. 25. The two teams will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CT on the SEC Network.
The Tigers are 5-0 against the Aggies since 2012 when Texas A&M joined the SEC.
Last season in College Station, junior running back Derrius Guice ran for 285 yards to set the single-game rushing yards record in the Tigers 54-39 win.
