Brysten Martinez, a 6-foot-5-inch 290-pound offensive tackle, announced his commitment to LSU on his social media Thursday morning.
Martinez is a four-star recruit in the class of 2026, a top-10 offensive tackle in America and a top-five player in Louisiana. He is a product of East Ascension High School, less than 30 minutes from Tiger Stadium.
Martinez chose the Tigers over other major SEC programs like Texas A&M, Georgia and Alabama.
Martinez joins Aiden Hall and Richard Anderson, two Edna Karr defensive stars, as top-five players in Louisiana to commit to LSU for the 2026 cycle. This is LSU’s sixth total commitment in this cycle, with all six coming from Louisiana.
