LSU Women’s Basketball Head Coach Kim Mulkey briefly addressed fans at the 2025 Welcome Back Event.

Mulkey began the event by introducing players, staff, and managers. She shared personal stories and behind-the-scenes moments, giving fans a unique glimpse into the personalities that make up the team.

She then emphasized a message on how important it was for the team to stay focused in the classroom.

“You’re going to go to class and then you’re going to perform in class.”

Each year the Lady Tigers carry a theme that the team abides by for the entire season. The theme shapes the culture and mindset of the team ahead of their season.

Mulkey spoke on this year’s theme, “All in, all year” and emphasized how it will be utilized for the team this upcoming season.

The event not only showcased the team’s talent and character but also served as a rallying point for fans, alumni, and LSU community as they prepare for a new season.

The Lady Tigers will kick off their 2025-2026 season with an exhibition game vs. Mississippi College on October 23.
