LSU has parted ways with Vice President of Marketing and Communications Todd Woodward, the university and Woodward told the Reveille Thursday.
“As part of our transition to a new administration, we’ve decided to bring fresh perspectives and new leadership to our communications function,” said Jason French, LSU chief of staff and senior vice president of external relations, in a statement to the Reveille. “We’re grateful for Todd’s dedicated services and contributions to LSU over the past two years and wish him continued success.”
University-wide communication employees were informed of Woodward’s departure on Wednesday and told a replacement had been selected who would be announced Monday, one employee said.
Woodward was hired in October 2023 under former President William Tate IV, who left for the same position at Rutgers University in May and has since been replaced by former McNeese State University President Wade Rousse.
