Though lead vocalist Rivers Cuomo may be balding, he, along with Weezer band mates Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell and Scott Shriner, knows how to do a live show.
Since its inception in 1992, Weezer has been an influential part of modern alternative rock. Seeing their performance at the Voodoo Experience this Friday will give attendees the change to see a great band of the ’90s. You may not like their whole catalogue, but Weezer is a force that one should see before dying. Weezer has always been a collegiate music act, from its lyrics about girls, partying and life, to its alternative/modern rock approach on music.
I just finished watching some of the band’s live performances on YouTube, and I cannot wait to see them live at Voodoo this Friday! Definitely check them out if you can when they perform at the Sony Make.Believe Stage at 7:45 p.m.
