“Arrested Development” creator Mitch Hurwitz revealed Sunday that he plans to bring the cult classic television show back to the airwaves.
Hurwitz also confirmed circulating rumors of a future movie based on the series.
According to IGN, Hurwitz announced the news at The New Yorker festival.
Arrested Development stars Jason Bateman and Will Arnett took to Twitter to confirm the news.
Bateman’s Twitter read, “It’s true. We will do 10 episodes and the movie. Probably shoot them all together next summer for a release in early ’13. VERY excited!”
