LSU Football is bringing in an old style but new approach to the spring game this weekend.
in year’s past the team has done a scrimmage style game with offense and defense competing in a game scenario set up but this year they’ll be hosting an open practice instead.
more and more teams around the country are moving away from the spring game format.
West Weeks says this will be a good chance for them to have some fun instead of full practice mode.
“I think it’s a fun experience for us, it’ll be our 13th time, so it’ll be a good little change for us. It will be fun for us to get out there and compete.”
Gates open at 9:30 on Saturday and practice will start at 10:30. Fans will have a chance to get autographs and pictures with Brian Kelly and the team following practice.
