Experience new music from LSU’s talented undergraduate student composers as they explore diverse musical landscapes. The recital will showcase the students’ creativity and passion for music. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. It is free and open to all.

LSU baseball vs. McNeese | Alex Box Stadium
Cheer on our Tigers as they play against the Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. The Tigers are currently ranked at No. 3 nationally with a 31-3 overall record this season. Though McNeese has played less games this season, they have an impressive 18-5 overall record, giving them potential to challenge LSU. Purchase tickets here.

BRCVPA Art Reception | La Divina
Student artists from the Baton Rouge Center for Visual and Performing Arts will have an art exhibition at La Divina from 6 to 8 p.m. Pieces include vibrant approaches reminiscent of pop art or folk illustration. Several students will also play live music. The event will be paired with La Divina’s offerings of gelato and lemonade.

LSU baseball vs. Alabama | Alex Box Stadium
Come watch the first in a three-game LSU baseball series against the Crimson Tide taking place this weekend, all of which will be streamed on the SEC Network. Given the infamous rivalry between the teams, the game is sure to be exciting. Get tickets to Thursday’s game here. The game starts at 7 p.m.

Goth Night | Place
Put on your eyeliner and join Chelsea’s Live for a goth-themed night. The event will feature DJ Hart, DJ Moon and Flyhaed. Both classic and new goth will be played, as well as synthpop and industrial dance music. General admission is $10 and can be purchased here. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Water Lantern Festival | BREC Forest Community Park
The Water Lantern Festival is back in Baton Rouge for another celebration of light and community. The festival includes food trucks, music and thousands of paper lanterns to light up the night. It takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. and admission can be purchased here. Tickets are selling fast, so be sure not to miss such an unforgettable experience.

Easter Jazz Brunch | 1717 Kitchen + Cocktails
Many Baton Rouge restaurants are doing themed brunches to celebrate the Easter holiday, and The Queen’s 1717 Kitchen is no exception. The event features three delicious courses with several options for each course, as well as bottomless mimosas and live jazz by Jan Dupre and the Gentlemen of Swing.
