The Connecticut Sun have drafted former LSU forward Annesah Morrow with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
Morrow led the Tigers in scoring averaging 18.7 points a game and 13.5 rebounds, the highest amount in Division I this season.
Morrow played a vital role in the Tigers success this season. She played in 36 games for the Purple and Gold this season, including a 30-point performance against NC State in the Sweet 16.
She now sits with the second-highest number of double-doubles with 104 by a college player, 30 of them this season. She is the first player in program history to earn the Basketball Hall of Fame’s Katrina McCain Award for the nation’s best power forward.
