It’s been a little over three months since the Chicken Salad Chick on Frogmore Drive off of West Lee Drive closed, and now there’s a new restaurant taking over the space.
Chipotle Mexican Grill is the newest owner of the property with plans to open its third Baton Rouge location. A deal was filed Friday with the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court’s office that detailed Streamline Development Partners, a commercial real estate firm, purchasing the property for $1.5 million, according to Baton Rouge Business Report.
Chipotle has two other locations in Baton Rouge. One is near LSU on 1010 W. State St. and it opened in 2012. The other location is on 6330 Siegen Ln. and opened in 2024.
