LSU Football is in full swing, and the Tigers have made moves off the field as well. Here are three recruits that you should keep your eye on as the season progresses.
First, we have Jabari Mack. Out of Destrehan, Louisiana, and Destrehan High School, Mack comes in as the #3 ranked Wide Receiver in the state. Mack could be one of the next great Tigers wide-outs from Destrehan, following in the steps of a certain Justin Jefferson, as so far this season, he’s been an impact player for the Wildcats this season.
What makes Mack scary is not just his impact in the redzone, but the fact that he can shine on both sides of the ball. Against Catholic High, Mack recorded a 100 yard pick-six, showing that he can make an impact as a defensive back too.
Next is Isaiah Washington who comes out of Haynesville, Louisiana from Haynesville High. Washington is a defensive menace, whether it’s blowing up teams offense with ease, or if he needs to reach out and pull off a wild interception, Washington can be someone who with time, can be a force to be recognized with.
Rounding out the top three is Davion Finney. Out of Chatsworth, California by way of Sierra Cannon High School. Already this season, Finney has recorded a 90 yard pick-six in the Trailblazer’s season opening victory, and has been a big part of Sierra Canyon starting their season 5-0. Finney is definitely someone I’d keep my eye out on for the rest of the season.
As the Tigers sit with the 11th ranked class in the nation, the Tigers will hope to add a bit more firepower before early signing day on December 3rd.
