Chicago Sky forward and LSU alumna Angel Reese has been traded to the Atlanta Dream.
First reported by Sports Journalist Taylor Rooks and reposted by Angel Reese, confirmed The Atlanta Dream and Chicago Sky have agreed to a trade that sends Angel Reese to the Atlanta Dream for a 2027 and 2028 first-round pick.
In her first season of the WNBA, Reese made the All-Star team twice and in her two seasons with the Chicago Sky, she has averaged 14.1 points per game, 12.9 rebounds, and 32 minutes.
This trade comes from The Sky not protecting players in a WNBA expansion deal that involves picks in the 2026 draft.
Reese is now joining Brittney Griner, Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray for a lineup that feels like a dream come true for a No.3 team with a strong position in the lead.
