With the LSU Men’s Basketball team being back in action and only three games into the season, they have already started off on a great note with a three game win streak. The team has been showing true potential.
Last season many fans weren’t very pleased with how the team played and how they executed their skills. Although it is still to soon to tell, with conference play still being a ways away, they are already showing some new skills and some old skills that they improved on.
“When you have rim protection it allows you to be aggressive,” Head Coach Matt McMahon said.
Although they have been doing great, there is still some key aspects that they need to improve on. One being more defensive on one on one moments and overall as a team.
“You’ve seen us get beat on some one on one off the bounce,” McMahon said.
The Tigers still have a long ways to go in their season, but if they keep this momentum up and keep showing improvement each game, they could be a force to reckon with. Their next match up with be against Charleston Southern on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
