LSU Football Head Coach Brian Kelly responded to the Greg Brooks Jr Good Morning America interview Wednesday afternoon.

Brooks and his father Greg Brooks Sr. sat down with GMA’s Michael Strahan to discuss their ongoing lawsuit against LSU, Our Lady of the Lake and the surgeon who performed the procedure.

Brooks Sr. said the family hasn’t heard from LSU Football since October 2023.

“Specifically Brian Kelly.” Greg Sr. said “My kid almost lost his life. Where were you? forget about football, pick up the phone and say you love the kid.”

Kelly’s Wednesday press conference was held to discuss transfer portal signees and signing day, but he said he’d be remiss to not comment on the interview.

“It is factually incorrect to state I was not by Greg’s side,” Kelly said “somebody from my staff was there almost everyday. We love Greg, we love him for the person that he is, the competitor that he is and the battle that he is.”

Multiple parties involved are choosing not to comment due to the ongoing litigation.
