A couple of days after LSU signed former Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt, they have now signed another quarterback, Husan Longstreet from the University of Southern California.
Coming out of high school, he was the No. 4 Quarterback in the nation and the No. 32 player in his class.
Longstreet was ranked as the No. 6 Quarterback in the transfer portal.
Longstreet is a six-foot, 200-pound player and will be entering his sophomore year with the LSU Tigers.
During his time at USC, he threw for 103 yards. He had 13 completions with 15 attempts and a completion percentage of 86.7% and one touchdown.
With LSU losing quarterbacks Michael Van Buren and Colin Hurley to the transfer portal, it was a smart move to find strong quarterbacks for their upcoming season.
As LSU gets closer to finalizing a roster with players leaving and some staying, Lane Kiffin has assured his statement is true by signing some of the top transfers in the portal.
